Chosuk

Ok I havent updated in a while but this weekend was pretty badass. Ok is chosuk the biggest holiday of the year and for chosuk we got five days off, (today is day four), anyways me and matt decided to go to Pusan for the holiday. We stayed at this amazing hostel called the actors and tourist guesthouse. The hostel was great and alot of cool people were staying there, two beautiful girls from singapore, a dude from japan, one girl from new zealand, (she hated me) one from america, one crazy dude from america, and one guy from australia. Ok so day one me at matt get to the hostel around four check in and everyting and then go to
Gwangalli beach which was about a ten minute walk from the hostel. At Gwangalli we eat some kind of dumpling, drink some beers, and chill of the beach with a really incredible view of a suspention bridge it was a great vibe. After chilling for a while we went back to the hostel and drank some beer with kind of crazy dude from america named moe, and a chill aussie named andrew bith were on holiday and teach in japan. So after drinking a ton of Hite we decided to go to Haeundae which is the trendy beach area and normally Haeundae is crazy but the weather sucked so nobody at the beach. But we first went to a bar called U2 I think there we met two chill black dudes. The bar was pretty lame and cheesy so decided to go to the trendy nightclub across the street but that place had a big cover so said fuck it and went another club like the fuzzy navel or something but that place was kind of dead so the bacl dudes and the aussie left us to go to MURII, the trendy nightclub. Anyways me matt and moe stayed played pool talked to the some really cute korean girls, I got one of their number, but decided to bounce. So ended up going to this nightclub I knew called the Velvet Underground near the university and that place was wild so packed, cheap drinks, hot korean babbes. So we danced and partied there all night left in the mourning maybe around five, it was awesome best nightclub ive been to in Korea. Sunday was also sweet during the day we went to the fish market which is huge and cool. While there I had some raw squid. It was wild it was still alive so it fought as you ate it like it would stick to the side of your mouth. After the fish market we drank at the beach then went to a nightclub where we met some hot korean girls and had a blast. Monday though was a differant and awesome. Me Matt, Joe, who is a cute new zealand chick, and andrew, the aussie, decided to go the aquarium. So we went to the aquarium which was pretty sweet but I ended up wondering by myself and lost the group I ended up taking a nap in some chair with this really wired music is was trippy dark room strage music, fishes. Anyways eventually I got back to the hostel and me and matt found out that Mr. Lee the hostel owner was throwing a full moon party at the hostel. So we decided to kill some time before that started so we went back to the beach drank some more beers talked spanish to some korean dude and then went to a cool outdoor pub where we shot the shot dranka pitcher and took in the sites it was a great vibe Gwangalli is a great spot. So after drinking we went back to the pad for the full moon party. So the party was sweet it took place outdoors so you could see the moon and he made some great food. So the scene was really great there were alot of really interesting people the singaporian girls, the japanese dude, the aussie me and matt, 2 military officers from taiwon, one mexiacan dude, mr lee all his friends it was great. So anyways the Pusan trip was great

DVD Bang

Well i thought i should update and share my experiences of last night. So last night me and my buddy Matt and my kinda od, sort of girlfriend Ji came over to my pad. So we started the night by getting drunk on soju and a little mekju while listening to justice it was pretty sweet. We then went to the Makkoli bar near my house which is across the street from changwon university. So there we ate kimchee jigae (kimche soup) and drank of course makkoli and well as soju. So it was me Ji and Matt getting pretty shitfaced until Matt made friends with two korean dudes so we then had a group of five and continuded on getting drunk, taking many shots of soju and sipping on makkoli, which is awesoome by the way tasy and cheap 3 bucks for a fucking kettel, anyways matt and the korean eventually left and it was just me and Ji. We then decided to do drink a little Sake at this cool little japenese restaurant and then go to the DVD Bang. Now the DVD Bang is very interesting becasue its a small room, which only two people are allowed to go into, and that has a huge screen where you are supposed to watch movies. But in reality it is where couples go to get laid becasue instead of a sofa or chairs there is a fucking bed. So anyways me and Ji go there but instead of watching a movie I brought a couple of CD's and we had "fun" in the DVD bang and then chrashed at my pad around 6.

Itaewon

Well I havent updated in a wile becasue nothing that interesting has happened ive just been kicking it in changwon going to the pubs and sort of seeing this really cute korean chick but this weekend was fucking badass. Ok so me and my buddy Matt, a cool southener from Georgia, decide to go to Seoul for the weekend. So to get to Seoul we take the KTX which is the high speed train that goes from Busan to Seoul. Once we get to Seoul we directly take a taxi to Itaewon which is the crazy foreigner area of the city. Its full of soldiers, whores, trannies, crazy nightclubs its a pretty wild place. So when we got there our first mission was to find a hotel which was a little bit of a problem but we eventually we got a room at the Itaewon hotel and because Matt can negociate like a mother fucker we got it for half price. So the first bar we go to is the Seoul Pub which is the big expat bar in the city we get it there for a while then bounced to the crazy hiphop club called UN. Once you walk into this place its like going to Atlanta or so some shit its crazy when we were there I felt so out of place me and matt were the only white boys there, it was full of black soldiers and hot korean chicks, but it was still pretty badass we danced with some hotties for a while had some beers and then decided to go to a more whitebrear type place. So we went to this live music bar where these Korean dudes were playing hilarious covers of cool 80's rock, at this point I had a very lost in translation vibe. But one we left shit started to get wierd we went up to hooker hill which is wierd and cool. So how it works in these girls stand outside these tiny little clubs and try to pull you in if they think you look safe, (inside they have cameras so they see who is coming) Anyways we go in and I swear the hooker was SO HOT. So inside she happens she calls one of her friends it got pretty wild. But after we left we explored more and ended up going to this tranny bar called transgender we hangout with the trannies for a while who I got to say look alot like chicks it was wierd. But after leaving we some how ended up at the one gay club in the city which was kind of hilarious becasue it was full of ladyboys. But we had to leave preety quick becasue we did feel uncomfortable. So after leaving the gay club we we went back to the Seoul Pub got really drunk and some how made it back to the hotel around 7 AM.
On sunday we got up around 2 had some kickass breakfest then smoked some hookah at this cool pakistani restaurant, after that we got some soju and mixed it with gaturade and while carrying out drinks visited the one Mosque in the city and got into a small argumant with these dudes from Egypt about the evils of modern America. When we left the Mosque we climbed on top of this korean house and had a kickass view of Northwest seoul up there we took some shots of Seoul and shot the shit. We then wandered and did some shopping, I got some badass aviators, and then we got dinner met some Korean chicks had some more drinks somehow at some point we got the bus out of Seoul and got back to Changwon at around 600 and class started at 630. But anyways it was pretty sweet.

morning after

Well last night was pretty sweet I got drunk and laid. So anyways what happened was me and my buddy matt went to IP (international pub) after work. While there we shot the shit talked about maybe moving to Spain (something I am seriously considering) and drinking brews. Eventually I get good and drunk and start talking to this hot fucking bartender. Talking turned to flirting and then we started taking tequilla shots. I remember I tried to convince her to take a bosy shit ans she wanted to but her boss basically said fuck no. But anyways she came back to my pad and we had fun. The only problem is that shes the bartender and I will see her every night I go out drinking so that could be very good or very bad. But whatever it was worth it, she was fine and it was a great lay.

saturday night at Haeundae

So last night me and my friend Matt decided to make a trip up to Haeundae. Now for you guys who dont know Haeundae is in eastern Busan and its the most famous beach in the country. So anyways me Matt both drink a bottle of Soju at my place and then take the bus up to Pusan we probably get to Pusan around 800 PM. So the first we do is find the beach, buy some kimbab,(like a california roll) and get a 2 liter bottle of Cass red (6.9% powerful shit). So anyways when we get there I couldnt believe how the crowded and cool the beach was, it was like IV but on fucking steroids. Everywhere you looked there was beautiful korean getting drunk on beer and soju. Im just guessing but I think there might have been at least 50,000 people it was crazy. So me and Matt are drinking our beer and checking out the hot chinks but I just couldnt stop thinking how badass it would be if I had a beerbong. The Koreans love drinking and drinking fast but no one knows of the simple beauty of a beerbong, I think if I had one I could have been king of the beach. But anyways the beach was wild everyone was getting drunk, people were firing off fireworks, there was this crazy group of young Sri Lankans who were perfoming tradional music using all these drums it was baddass. Then the Sri Lankans bring out the guitars and jamming out it was cool scene. Being on the beach I felt like I was in Goa or in some dream it was really really cool. So me and Matt kicked it at the beach until 2AM drinking, dancing, and snging with the Sri Lankans, eating ice cream with religious pakistanis, (who wont drink alcohol but one of the guys was telling me he smoked alot of hash back in pakistan), and flirting with hot korean chicks who only speak a little english. But we left the beach at around 2 and went to this western bar called U2.
So the night started to get a little wierd once we got to the Pub. The first thing that I thought was strange was that these two german guys are like "hey David hows it going" so they know me but I have no idea who they are, I might have blacked out or sometime in the past, but I just played along and they bought me a few drinks. And then I see this cute korean that I hooked up with once before back in Changwon and danced and I ended living the bar with her and went to her hotel room around maybe 7AM. But I realized aftr I spept with her that I left Matt and he has no idea where to find a hotel or how to get back to Changwon so I race back to the Pub but hes gone. I also looked for him at Mcdonalds and at the beach but I couldnt find him, so as I right now i have no idea what happeded to him I hope I see him tommorrow at work.
But after looking for Matt i was so tired so I slept at the beach for 3 or so hours and as I was still drunk I decided I wanted to meet so Russian girls so i went to to Russian street, (which is across the street from Busan station) but as it was a sunday there was no one about. I was was still tired and sore so I decided to get a massage which was great it lasted for two hours and very relaxing. And after the massage I took the bus back to Changwon.

Seoul #1

So today wednesday is the last day of my five day summer vacation. I decided to take my holiday in Seoul and I got back a few hours ago. So anyways I felt a little sick on friday and saturday so I took it easy just had a few drinks in Changwon. I felt great on Sunday though and took the KTX (Korean high speed train) to Seoul which only took two and half hours. So anyways I get there around six or so and Im by myself and no almost nothing about the city I have no luggage its just be and my wallet. So the firt thing I did was look for a PC Bang (internet cafe) and find out where the fuck to go and where to stay. So the web didnt help me too much but it gave me directions on how to get to Itaewon. Now Itaewon is the forgiener ghetto of Seoul its where all the GI's hangout and the Africians, Muslims, Indians, and all the sort of "wierd" people like filipino transvestites and shit. Anyways I find some cheap shit hole hotel that is mostly used by hookers and set off to explore. So the first thing I did was eat a shworma (sp?) and drink a korean beer. After that I had to explore the famous hooker hill. So hooker hill is this hill where there are tons of hookers. But they are kind of interesting most of them are small building with one prositute (usually very cute) who comes out and trys to get you to come inside. So I was curious and I went inside and inside there is a bed and a bar and she will serve you drinks and if you want you could fuck her. But what I found interesting was she had these TV's in there where she could see the street and if the guy looked safe she would bring them inside. I asked her what that meet and she said no Koreans and no Black guys (Koreans are so racist to back people). Well after I was done with the hooker I asked her what was cool and she told me the Seoul Pub and it was cool. So I went to the Pub and it was packed with many waegugin (foreigners) Anyways I end up drinking with this guy named William who is this cool young German guy who works as a translator German to English. He speaks no Korean and just works with a German company ans makes fucking 6 million a month thats 6000 dollers. Anyways we drink and he shows me all the hot spots around Itaewon including this nightlcub called lime light which even though it was monday was really cool and there we meet some Korean girls and drank alot of tequilla but I think we got to shit faced and the girls left. So we ended up at this fucking Russian bar full of Russian prostitutes and at least they looked Russian mafia. But there we talked to these Russian guys and one guy I remember he told me he was a big time smuggler. After the wierd Russian bar my memory isnt great but I remember we went to some high end "massage" place where William got a high end "massage" with a beautiful korean girl. After that I some how made it back to hotel where it was around 7 AM. I slept there only until around 12 becasue I had plans to meet up with my Korean "girl friend". Later I'll write about what we did it got pretty wild.

Saturday in Pusan

So my day yesterday and my mourning today was pretty cool and interesting. I started the day my meeting this this cute girl Ji and went and saw the new Harry Potter movie in Mason. I got to say I dug new the Potter move though I wished I would have saw Die hard 4 that movie looks badass. Anyways we ended up next going to Pusan which is about 30-45 minutes away by bus. So when we get to Busan to decide to go to the area of the side around pusan national university which I think is the coolest part of Busan. This area is full of hot chicks wearing wired fashion, cool restaurants, and some of the best western pubs in the city. So we decided, or more like I insisted, that we go the cool pigs feet restaurant. So at this restaurant they only serve pigs feet but they do it in alot of differant ways so we ended going there eating a ton of pigs feet and drinking mekju(beer) and soju. After eating we went to my favorite western pub in the city called the basement but for some reason it was pretty dead we still had fun we smoked hookah and drank alot of Hoegarrdens, well I drank alot of Hoegarrdens. But it was also cool becasue even though I hadn't been there for a couple months the hot waitress remembered me and the owner gave me a few free drinks. So we ended up leaving the pub around maybe 4 in the morning and then found a love hotel and had fun there.
But what was the most interesting for me was when we woke up she wanted to go a public bath. Now the public is pretty wierd so you walk in pay 4000 won they take your shoes and give you a locker key and give you a set of clothes you have to wear. After you change you have many differant places and things you can do. The first thing I learned is that it is split in male and female sections. So once I got to the male section you can go differant rooms the first one i went to was the sleeping room where, well you can go sleep on the floor in this really dark room. So when I walked in there was around 30 Korean guys all sleeping on the floor it was kind of strange. The next room I went to was the bath room where there were differant big communal baths one was cold water another was hot water and in these pools there were many Korean guys. So I decided to take a dip in the hot bath is pretty sweet. And one interesting thing about the pools is that you can pay for a guy to clean your back while you relax in the pool. Anyways after I left the pool area I went to the Sauna room and took a nice sauna. Then I went to the shower room and took shower, which was wierd becasue all the Korean guys where looking at me becasue i was the only foreigner. After that I went to a differant part of the bath where both men and women were allowed there I got a massage and then took a nap on the floor. So the bath experience was cool but a little strange.
